1 quart milk, scaled 1 cup shortening 1 cup mashed potatoes 1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. baking powder 2 pkgs. yeast, dissolved in water
Instructions:
Add enough flour to make a soft batter. Beat a few minutes. Add enough flour to knead. Put in greased bowl and let rise in a cool place. Make into rolls and let rise. Good for doughnuts too!
