| 1 1/2 cup sifted flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 eggs | 1/2 cup cocoa 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups sugar 1/2 cup soft shortening 1/2 cup hot water |

| Heat oven to 350 degree. Grease an 8 inch square pan, line with wax paper and grease again. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon into a mixing bowl. Put the remaining ingredients into blender and mix until smooth. Add to flour mixture. Stir quickly just until smooth. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35-40 minutes. | |
