Ingredients: |
6 quarts medium cucumbers 6 onions, medium sized 2/3 cup salt 1 1/2 quart vinegar 6 cups sugar 1/2 cup mustard seed 1 tablespoon celery seed 1/4 to 1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper | |

Instructions: |
Combine cucumbers (sliced), onions(sliced), and salt and allow to stand 3 hours. Drain.
Combine seasonings, vinegar and bring to boil. Add cucumbers and onions. Heat to simmering and pack hot in heated jars and seal. DO NOT BOIL. Can substitute zucchini for cucumbers. |
