4 ounces unsweetened chocolate 1/2 cup butter 4 eggs 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup flour 1 6-oz. package chocolate chips 1 cup chopped walnuts
Melt chocolate and butter over low heat or in microwave. Let cool. In bowl, beat 4 eggs until light. Add sugar and salt slowly, beating constantly until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and chocolate mixture. Stir in flour with a spoon, about 1/4 cup at a time. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased pan. Bake 30 minutes. Let cool and lightly frost with chocolate icing.
