3/4 cup water 1/4 cup butter 2 cups grated cheddar cheese 1 tsp. salt
1 package yeast 1 cup wheat germ 1 tbs. sugar 1 1/2 cup wheat flour
Instructions:
Heat water and butter to 110-115 degree. Add yeast, dissolve, combine with cheese, wheat germ, sugar, salt, mix well. Stir in flour to make soft dough which leaves sides of bowl. Knead 5 minutes or until elastic -- into 30 pieces. Roll into rope 12 inches long. Twist to pretzel. Place on greased baking sheet, brush with egg whites and sprinkle with wheat germ and salt. Bake at 375 degree 15-18 minutes.
