Previous Next Back to record list Record 9 of 45
|1/2 lb. shredded cheddar cheese (Tillamook)|
1/2 lbs. butter
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. red pepper
|Mix above ingredients together (knead if necessary). Roll out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with doughnut hole cutter (1 inch in diameter). Place on cookie sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle top with either sesame or poppy seeds, or leave plain. They are now ready to bake. They are done when the bottoms become firm but before the bottoms start to brown very much. Bake at 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes.|
These make an excellent gift food -- different from the usual sweets and they are easy enough for anyone to make.
