2 unbaked pie shells 5 medium apples 3/4 cup sugar dash of salt 1 1/2 tbs. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbs. butter
Line the pan with pastry. Fill pie shell with apples. Sprinkle with sugar, salt, flour and cinnamon, which have been mixed together. Dot with butter. Cover apples with a top crust and seal edge by folding upper crust over the lower edge.
Bake at 450 degree for 10 minutes, then at 350 degree for about 30 minutes, or until apples are tender.
