Green Bean Casserole |

Ingredients: |
3 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen french-style green beans 1 1/2 cups water 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 5-oz. can water chestnuts, sliced 1 10-oz. can water chestnuts, sliced 1 10 oz. cans condensed cream of celery soup 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup milk 2-3 (1/2 oz.) cans french fried onion rings or bacon bits | |

Instructions: |
Combine beans, water and salt. Cover and bring to boil over high heat. Separate beans with fork for faster thawing. After water boils, cook about 3 minutes. (Beans should be a little crisp). Drain thoroughly. Layer beans and water chestnuts in a greased 2-quart casserole. Mix soup and pepper with milk, pour over beans.
Bake at 350 degree for about 25 minutes. Top with onion rings, bake 10 minutes more, until golden brown. |
