Pineapple-Orange Sauce

Ingredients:
6 tbs. sugar
1 orange rind, grated
3 tbs. cornstarch
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1/3 cup crushed pineapple
 
 
Instructions:
Used half brown sugar, lemon rind (dried) instead of orange, mixed concentrated orange juice instead of fresh, added salt, cloves to taste and also used considerably more cornstarch to thicken to my liking.

Bring to a boil and cook at least 3 minutes until very clear and thick. Raisins may be added.
