Ingredients: |
1 domestic duck, cleaned 1 cup boiled onions 1 cup chopped apples 1 cup bread crumbs Milk to moisten | 1/2 tbsp. poultry seasoning 3/4 tsp. salt Pepper and paprika Orange juice for basting 1/4 cup melted shortening |

Instructions: |
Add seasoning to crumbs, then combine with other ingredients. Save orange juice for basting if desired. Stuff into duck, sew opening.
Place duck, breast side down, on rack in roating pan, roast uncovered in 350 degrees oven, from 25-30 minutes per pound.
When half cooked, turn duck on its back, and baste with orange juice. |
