Combine milk and bran in medium-sized mixing bowl. Add oil, molasses, brown sugar and egg; mix well. Add combined oats and dry ingredients to bran mixture, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. Fill 12 greased medium-sized muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake in preheated hot oven 400 degree, for 15 minutes.
Variations: Substitute 3/4 cup unprocessed bran for bran cereal.
Substitute 1/4 cup honey or dark corn syrup for molasses.
Add 1/2 cup raisins or chopped nuts.
To freeze: Wrap securely; store in freezer 2 to 3 months. Thaw, wrapped at room temperature, 2 to 3 hours. |
