Ingredients: |
6 veal chops, 1 inch thick 1/2 tsp. salt Pepper 1 egg 3/4 cup fine crumbs Shortening 1 large onion 1 can tomato cream soup 1/2 cup water | |

Instructions: |
Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Dip into egg beaten slight with a little water. Dip into crumbs. Brown on both sides in small amount of shortening. Lay thin onion slices on chops. Pour on mixed soup and water. Cover and bake about 1 hour in moderate oven, 400 degrees. |
