4 Cornish game hens 3 cups cooked wild rice 1/4 cup finely chopped celery 1/4 cup finely chopped onion 1/3 cup white fruity wine 1/2 cup slivered almonds pineapple and/or orange pieces. sliced | |

Instructions: |
Rub hens (seasoned with salt, pepper, paprika) lightly with oil. Stuff with mixture of rice, celery, onion, almonds and fruit pieces. Cook extra in a pan or bake in foil in oven. Baste birds in wine frequently. Garnish with fruit slices. Bake 1 hour at 350 degree.
Note: Wild rice can be substituted with any seasoned rice of your choice. |
