1 leg veal 1 tbsp. mustard 1 tsp. sage 1 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper 1 cup cold water 3 tbsp. vinegar 10 sices bacon
Brown veal in roasting pan in hot oven, 500 degrees. Spread mixed spices, sugar, salt, pepper, water and vinegar over the meat and top with bacon slices. Finish baking in moderate oven 375 degrees, allowing 25 minutes per pound.
