Drain pineapple. Drain and mash apricots. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and add fruit liquid. fold in marshmallows and fruit. Pour into 9 x 12 pan and chill until set.
The following topping may be used:
1/2 cup sugar 2 tbs. flour 1 egg, beaten well 12 cup fruit liquid 2 tbs. butter 1 cup whipped cream
In a saucepan, mix sugar, flour, egg, canned fruit liquid and butter. Cook until thickened. Cool and fold in whipped cream. Spread over set Jell-O. Grated cheese may be added for topping. |
