Ingredients: |
2 eggs, beaten 1 1/2 cups Wesson oil 2 cups sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. soda 3 cups flour 1 tbsp. vanilla 3 cups diced apples 1 cup nuts (optional) | Frosting: 1 cup canned milk 1 cup sugar 3 egg yolks 1/2 cup butter 1 tsp. vanilla |

Instructions: |
Combine all cake ingredients, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
Frosting: Cook and stir over medium heat until thick (about 12 minutes). Add 1 1/2 cup coconuts and 1 cup nuts. Beat until thick enough to spread. |
