Cottage Cheese Cookies

Ingredients:

1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup butter
8 oz. drained cottage cheese
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
2 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Instructions:
Cream sugar and butter, beat in cottage cheese, add eggs and vanilla. Sift and add the remaining ingredients. Add chips and nuts. Chill and roll into small balls. Coat with either powdered or granulated sugar, nuts, or coconut.

Bake 15 minutes in a 350 degrees oven.
