1 1/2 cups soy grits 2 tbsp. oil 1/4 cup wheat germ 1 1/2 tsp. celery salt 3 1/2 cups boiling water 1/3 cup grated carrot | 1/3 cup minced green pepper 1/3 cup minced onion 1 tsp. sea salt 2 eggs, lightly beaten 2 cups bread crumbs |
Instructions: Heat 1 tbs. oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add soy grits and stir for a minute, quickly add wheat germ and celery seed; stir into boiling water and reduce heat to low. Simmer, uncovered, stirring as needed until water is completely absorbed. This can take 10-15 minutes or about 1 hour, depending on the type of soy grits used. Preheat oven to 350 degree. | |
