P-Nut Butter Crackles

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Peanut butter 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Chocolate stars

Instructions:
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Mix softened butter and peanut butter until well blended. Gradually add sugar mixing well. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.

Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12 min. at 375 degrees until lightly browned. Remove from oven and quickly press chocolate star firmly into center of each cookie. Cookie will crack around edges. Remove from baking sheet and cool.
