Barbecued Beef

    Cook Time: 2 hours   Yield/Servings: 6 servings  
3 pounds beef cubes
3 tablespoons fat
1 clove garlic, mashed
3 medium onions, sliced
1 cup catsup
1/2 cup vinegar
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoon brown sugar
1 cup beef stock
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tampon dry mustard

Brown beef in fat with garlic. Slice onions and add to meat.

Mix all remaining ingredients -- pour over beef.
Cover and simmer about 1 1/2 hours.

(Or cook in pressure cooker for 12 minutes and allow pressure to drop slowly).

Thicken with flour and water mixture.
