Linguini with Clam Sauce

Ingredients:
2 tbs. olive oil
1/4 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 cup half n' half
2 cans drained clams
1 package linguini, 8 oz. for 2
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
1/4 cup grated romano cheese
salt and pepper
 
Instructions:

Heat oil and butter. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in cream and clams. Heat, do not boil. Cook linguini, drain. Pour over clam mixture. Stir in parsley and cheese.
