1 large onion 3 stalks celery 1 green peppers 2 cups leftover pot roast or 1 lb. ground beef 2 tbs. butter 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. salt dash of pepper 1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed mushroom soup | |
Instructions: Chop onion, celery and green pepper. Chop leftover beef in small cubes. Cook beef in 1 tbs. butter for several minutes. If using ground beef, cook until brown and drain fat. Transfer beef to a 2 quart casserole. Melt remaining butter in pan, add chopped vegetables and cook until crisp tender. Stir in soup, water, salt, and pepper. Pour into casserole with beef and mix well. | |
