Ingredients: | |
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour 4 teaspons baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbs. shortening 3/4 cup milk | |
Instructions: Sift together the dry ingredients. Cut, or rub in, the shortening. Then add milk to make a soft, feathery dough, drop by spoonfuls (or roll out lightly and cut with biscuit cutter) on top of vegetable stew, well cooked beans, or stewed holiday chicken. | |
