Berry Dumplings

2 cups blueberries or strawberries, or any berry
1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Combine 2 cups of berries with sugar and water (stewed). Bring to boil. When briskly boiling, drop in dumplings made of a soft biscuit dough to which has been added one cup of berries. Cover tightly and allow to simmer for 20 minutes. Serve in a cereal dish, drowning the dumpling in the berry sauce andcream or with vanilla ice cream.
