Garlic Grits

  Yield/Servings: 6 - 8 servings  
 
Ingredients:
1 cup grits
4 cups water
salt
1 - 8 oz. roll of garlic cheese or
8 oz. Velvetta and 1 tbs. garlic powder.
1 stick butter
1 egg, slightly beaten, plus milk to make 1 cup
 
Instructions:

Cook grits according to package directions using grits, water and salt. Add cheese, butter, egg and milk. Stir until butter and cheese are melted.

Pour into buttered casserole, sprinkle with paprika; bake at 325 degrees for 30-40 minutes (depending on size/shape of casserole). Helps to cut the butter and cheese in small pieces before adding to the grits - melts faster that way. This will serve 6-8 nicely. Yummy!
