2 tbsp. shortening 4 tbsp. flour 1 cup milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. minced parsley 2 cups ground, cooked lamb | |
Instructions: Make thick white sauce of shortening, flour, milk and salt. Cool. Stir in parsley and meat. If mixture is not thick enough to handle, add a few cracker or bread crumbs. Shape as croquettes, dip in fine crumbs, then in beaten egg and water (salted), and crumbs again. | |
