2 lbs. lean lamb shank 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. curry powder 1 tsp. salt 4 tbsp. shortening 1 tsp. vinegar 2 small onions, sliced | |
Instructions: Cut meat in small pieces. Mix flour, curry powder, and salt, sprinkle over meat, then brown meat in shortening. Cover with boiling water, add vinegar and small onions. Cover, cook for 1 hour or until meat is tender. Serve in a rice ring or over a mound of buttered rice. | |
