Baked Veal Loaf

Ingredients:
1/4 cup fine cut celery
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
1/2 cup water
1 1/4 lbs. ground raw veal
1/4 lbs. cut salt pork
2 cups brad crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. grated onion
1/2 cup milk
 
Instructions:

Cook celery and pepper in water for 10 minutes. Mix with remaining ingredients and pack into greased loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven 350 degree, for 1 hour. Turn onto large platter and serve with Vegetable Sauce.

Vegetable sauce: Add a small can of drained mixed vegetables to 1 1/2 cups seasoned white sauce. Garnish with parsley.
