Breaded Veal Chops

  Yield/Servings: 6 servings  
 
Ingredients:
6 veal chops
1 egg, beaten
1 to 2 tbsp. milk
salt and pepper
Fine bread or cracker crumbs
 
Instructions:

Wipe Chops. Dip in mixture of egg, seasoning and milk, then in crumbs. Let stand 10 minutes, then brown in hot shortening. Add 1/2 cup water. Cover; simmer until tender. Remove chops, thicken drippings with flour and add milk to make the gravy. Season well.
