Veal Drumsticks

  Yield/Servings: 6 servings  
 
Ingredients:
2 lbs. veal steak
salt and pepper
2 cups well-seasoned bread stuffing
1 cup water
 
Instructions:

Remove bone, skin, and gristle from slices of veal. Pound meat thin. Trim into pices 2 1/2 x 4', (trimming may be ground and added to the stuffing.) season each slice, spread with stuffing, roll and fasten with toothpicsk, to resemble turkey legs.

Brown in hot shortening, place in baking dish, add water and cook in 375 degrees, until tender. Remove to serving platter, insert short skewers in each and cover them with paper frills. Serve with tomato sauce, if desired.
