1 lb. veal steak, cut up 2 tbsp. shortening 1 onion, minced 1/2 green pepper, minced 1/2 tsp. salt | 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. sugar 2 cups tomato juice 2 cups boiling water 1 pkg. fine noodles |
Instructions: Dust veal pieces with flour, salt, and pepper; brown in hot shortening. Add rest of ingredients, including noodles which must be covered with the liquid. Cover, bring to boil, then simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes. Serve veal in center of noodles. | |
