4 double-thick pork chops Bread stuffing Sweet potatoes (optional) 1 egg 3 tbs. milk 1 tsp. salt Pepper 1 tsp. prepared mustard 3 cups crushed crumbs | |
Instructions: Cut pocket in each chop; fill with any bread stuffing or noodle dressing and cover as follows: Mix egg, milk and seasonings. Dip chops in this; roll in crumbs. Brown on all sides in fat using dutch oven or fryer. Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour. Sweet potatoes may be cooked around chops. | |
