Peach 'N' Sausage Balls

1 lb. pork sausage
2 tbs. minced onion
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 egg (beaten)
8 canned peach halves
syrup drained from peaches

Mix onion, brad crumbs, egg, sausage and seasonings. Form into 8 balls. In shallow baking dish arrange peach halves with cut side up. Insert 3 cloves around edges of each peach. Place one sausage ball in center of each peach halve.

Bake in 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes. Drain off fat and pour on heated peach syrup.
