2 lbs. spareribs (beef or pork) 3 slices bacon 1/2 half onion, finely chopped 1/2 cup catsup 1/2 cup water 3/4 cup brown sugar Worcestershire sauce to taste salt and pepper | |
Instructions: Brown together in fry pan bacon, cut in small pieces and onion. Drain off excess fat. Add catsup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Let simmer on low heat, stir occasionally. This is enough sauce for 2 lbs. spareribs. | |
