Lentil Soup

Ingredients:
1 pound lentils
2 quarts water
ham bone
1 celery stalk, chopped in pieces
2 cups canned tomatoes
 
Instructions:

Cover ham bone with water. Add onion, celery stalk, tomatoes. Simmer covered for 2 hours or until thick. Remove bone and cut off any bits of ham. Add to soup. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and add more water if necessary. Cook for another 10 minutes or so and enjoy!
