4 tbsp. shortening 5 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 cup milk 2 cups flaked salmon 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. minced onion 1/2 cup sifted bread crumbs Few grains pepper 2 eggs, slightly beaten with 2 tbsp. water | Spinach Sauce: 1 1/2 cups white sauce 1/3 cup minced, cooked spinach salt pepper paprika vinegar |
Instructions: Make a white sauce of shortening, flour, salt and milk. Remove from heat, add salmon, lemon juice, pepper, onion and crumbs. Spread in shallow pan and chill. | |
