Shrimp Dejonghe Sauce

1 cup butter
4 cloves garlic
1/4 teaspoon tarragon leaves
1/4 teaspoon snipped parsley
1/2 teaspoon minced onion
1/4 teaspoon each nutmeg, mace and thyme
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup chicken broth

Place butter on stove, add garlic and cook until butter browns. Remove from heat and remove garlic pieces. Add rest of ingredients. Stir together and simmer.

Put over fish and bake in oven, or heat to slow boil, drop in shrimp, cover and remove from heat and let cool, 2-3 minutes. Do not cool shrimp too long or will be tough. Or can cook mushrooms in combinations with fish and shrimp.
