ID: 529   Seafood
2 cups raw potato cubes
1 large onion, sliced thin
2 tbsp. butter
2 cans (2 cups minced) clams cooked in own liquor
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Rich pasty dough, enough for one-crust pie

Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, drain. Saute onion in butter, add clams, liquor, potatoes, salt and pepper. Heat well, then pour into greased casserole. Cover with pastry, which has been gashed to allow escape of steam. Bake in hot oven, 400 degree, about 20 minutes, until browned.
