3 lb. fish 1 onion, grated 1/2 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 cup cracker crumbs or Matzos 1 tbsp. chopped almonds | |
Instructions: Clean fish. Remove skin without breaking, beginning at the neck. Remove bones. chop flesh fine. Combine with other ingredients. Stuff into skin; sew with coarse thread. Place in vegetable stock (1 qt. water, 1 tbsp. chopped carrot, 1 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 tbsp. chopped celery). Boil gently until stock is nearly absorbed. | |
