Salmon Casserole

Ingredients:
4 slices bread (white)
1 pint canned or baked salmon
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 chopped onion
1 can cream of Chicken or Mushroom soup
1 cup (approx.) grated cheddar cheese
 
Instructions:

Dice bread, place 1/2 in bottom of casserole. Mix salmon, mayonnaise, onion, celery, milk, and eggs. Pour on top of bread. Top with remaining bread. Refrigerate overnight or all day.

1 1/2 hours before serving place in a 325 degrees oven for 15 minutes. Pour soup over the mixture and top with cheese and paprika. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Remove lid the last 15 or 20 minutes.

Note: You can substitute salmon with crab or tuna.

Comments: I serve white sauce and chopped egg with this.
