1 qt. scallops salt pepper bread crumbs 1 egg | |
Instructions: Pick over scallops, place them in saucepan and cook slowly until they begin to shrivel. Drain. Season with salt and pepper. Roll in fine bread crumbs, dip in beaten egg, again in crumbs, and fry 2 minutes in hot deep fat. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with tartar sauce. | |
