2 cups freshened codfish 2 cups diced raw potatoes 2 tbsp. butter Salt and pepper 2 eggs, well beaten Egg sauce | |
Instructions: Cover fish and potatoes with water, boil until tender. Drain and mash. Season with butter, salt and pepper, add egg. Mix and form into balls or cakes. Roll in flour or crumbs and egg mixture, fry in hot deep fat, 390 degrees, until browned. Drain on absorbent paper. | |
