Broccoli Italienne

  Yield/Servings: 6 servings  
 
Ingredients:
1 or 2 heads broccoli, cleaned
1 tsp. salt
Boiling water to cover
1 1/2 cup boiled potato, chopped
Salt and pepper
Heavy cream
Grated cheese moistened with cream
 
Instructions:

Cook broccoli, salt and boiling water until tender, drain and chop coarsely. There should be about 2 cups of chopped broccoli. Add potato, salt and pepper and enough cream to barely moisten it. Pack closely into greased mold, let stand until firm, turn out on buttered baking sheet. Spread with moistened grated cheese. Brown in hot oven.
