1 3/4 cup flour 1 pkg. yeast 1 cup very warm water 1 tbs. sugar 1 tbs. oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup flour (if needed) 6 tbs. baking soda sesame seeds | |
Instructions: Place in bowl: 1 3/4 cups flour, yeast, oil, sugar and salt. Add water and beat for 2 min. Knead dough 2-3 minutes; adding more flour as needed. Place in a greased bowl and let rise 1 hour. Then punch down dough and turn out on board. Divide into 12 pieces, and share into balls. Roll each into 18 inch rope and twist into pretzel. Place on well greased cookie sheet and let rise 2 min. | |
