Double Dutch Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients:
1/2 cup ground chocolate or
a scant 1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbs. melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/3 cup brown sugar
 
Instructions:

Into a greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish sift: 1/4 cup ground chocolate, baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/3 cup sugar. Stir in: milk, vanilla, melted butter, and chopped nuts (optional). Mix just enough to blend ingredients.

Sprinkle with topping made by mixing: 1/4 cup ground chocolate or 1/4 cup cocoa, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/3 cup brown sugar.

Over all pour: 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Do not stir after adding water. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes.
