4 cups diced rhubarb 1/2 to 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter 1 cup sugar 3/4 cup flour (sifted) 1 tsp. cinnamon dash of salt 1/3 cup chopped walnut meats or filbert | |
Instructions: Combine rhubarb with 1/2 to 1 cup sugar. Turn into greased baking dish. Melt butter slightly, stir in the 1 cup sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt and nuts. Pack over fruit and bake 400 degrees for 40 minutes, or until rhubarb is tender. Serve plain, or with whipped cream, cream Kool-whip or ice cream. Makes 4 - 6 servings. | |
