Cherry Streusel Bars

|2 cups flour|
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) cherry pie filling
1/2 cup coconut or chopped nuts
Cut butter into flour and sugar until particles are fine. Set aside 1 cup. Press remainder into bottom of greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until light golden brown. Spread cherries over partially baked crust. Combine coconut with reserved flour-sugar mixture. Sprinkle over cherries. Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
