Banana Cake

Ingredients:

1/2 cup shortening (8 tbs.)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup milk or 1/4 tsp. white vinegar
3 or 4 very ripe bananas

Instructions:
In 1st bowl mix: Shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
In 2nd bowl mix: baking powder, baking soda, sifted flour, and salt.
In 3rd bowl mix: milk or vinegar, and bananas.

Set oven at 350 degree. Grease and flour bread loaf pan. Mix 1/2 2nd bowl with 1st bowl, then half of 3rd bowl. Repeat. Once all mixed put into bread loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes.
