Cranberry Pie

Ingredients:
1 baked pie crust
1 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups cranberries
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. cold water
 
Instructions:

Boil sugar and water 5 minutes. Add cranberries and cook until berries have popped. Make a paste of cornstarch and water, add to berries and cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Pour into pie shell. Bake 10 minutes in hot oven, 425 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
