Fondue Fritters

Ingredients:
1 cup pancake mix
1/2 tbs. prepared mustard
2 cups salad oil
maple syrup
1 8-oz. pkg. maple brown n' serve sausage links
 
Instructions:

Cut sausage links into fourths. Prepare pancake batter according to package directions. Add mustard. Heat oil in saucepan.

When oil bubbles, pour into fondue pot and place on stand over heat. Spear a piece of sausage with fondue fork and dip into batter.

Lower sausage into hot oil, fry until golden brown. Dip into maple syrup.
